Within the School of Public Health, the Division of Health Systems Management and Policy is dedicated to developing strong relationships with healthcare community partners to provide graduate students with real-world practice experiences and innovative classroom instruction.

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

As the only accredited healthcare management program in Tennessee and one of the programs of choice to the Mid-South healthcare community for developing leaders in the field, the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program is dedicated to providing high-quality educational experience that will prepare graduates for early careerist positions in a variety of healthcare organizations. With a unique “Day One” program approach, the curriculum and field experience opportunities provide students with valuable leadership development skills to place themselves in position to compete for leadership roles in the thriving healthcare industry. At the culmination of the 51-credit two-year full-time or three-year part-time program, students are required to complete an integrative capstone experience with an administrative internship at one of the partnering healthcare facilities throughout the local area for at least 300 clock hours.
